Reputation Score

Guest Experience

A reputation score is a composite metric summarizing a hotel's online review performance across platforms, weighting ratings, volume and recency into one trackable number that can be benchmarked against competitors.

In practice

Individual platform scores move slowly and differ in scale, so reputation tools compute an aggregate index that management can track monthly and compare with the comp set. Movements in the index typically precede movements in conversion and pricing power.

Score improvements come from operations, not from the dashboard. Fixing the issues guests mention most and increasing review volume from satisfied guests are the levers. A hotel with strong scores can also price more confidently, since perceived quality supports the rate.
