Google Hotel Ads is Google's metasearch product that shows live prices from OTAs and the hotel's own website inside Google Search and Maps hotel listings, charging advertisers per click or per completed booking.
When travelers search a hotel by name, Google displays a price panel with booking options. Hotels participate through an integration partner that feeds live rates from the booking engine, competing directly with the OTAs bidding on the same placement.
Because most name searches come from guests who already chose the hotel, this placement defends direct revenue at the exact moment of decision. Commission-per-stay bidding models reduce risk for smaller properties, paying only when a booking actually materializes and is honored.
