Post-stay Survey

Guest Experience

A post-stay survey is a questionnaire sent to guests after check-out asking about their experience. It captures private structured feedback the hotel controls, complementing public reviews and feeding scores such as NPS and CSAT.

In practice

Surveys reach guests public platforms miss and allow specific operational questions, breakfast quality, check-in speed, room comfort. Short surveys sent promptly get the best response, every added question measurably reduces completion.

The private channel also intercepts problems, an unhappy answer can trigger a service recovery contact before the guest writes publicly. Survey programs decay when nobody acts on results, so routing themes to department heads with a monthly review keeps the feedback loop alive.
